DOFF Cleaning

What is DOFF cleaning?
The DOFF system is a steam-based cleaning system that uses a combination of high temperature steam and an adjustable nozzle. The pressure and temperature of the water can easily be adjusted by the operator, making it a flexible solution for a variety of tasks. The system was designed and developed to effectively remove paint, biological matter and build-up of dirt and grime from pollution without causing harm or shock to the substrate. As it is not a high-pressure device, it is gentle enough to be used on a range of softer materials such as wood or soapstone.

The DOFF system is unique in achieving temperatures up to 150 degrees at the nozzle end. As the water is superheated, the device is perfectly capable of instantly detaching algae, moss, graffiti and any other forms of biological matter.

Conservation and Restoration

The DOFF cleaning system is known for the effectiveness it has in providing specialist surface cleaning for heritage buildings without damage. The DOFF cleaning system is a sensitive cleaning method that is capable of highly effective deep cleaning without the use of harsh chemicals. It can restore and revive the building surface while ensuring the long-term integrity of the building fabric is retained. The DOFF cleaning system, when used correctly, is extremely effective and safe for use in open spaces without harming the public or the environment. Our fully trained operatives take all of the correct safety precautions when cleaning any surface.
